Q1: Did people think you were crazy when you said you wanted to make a silent film?
MH: Yes, in a way yes. Crazy or unconscious. Or stubborn. Yeah but I think you have to try sometimes too to do things that people don't think it's doable. I remember at the very beginning when I...actually the first person I had to convince was myself really because there's a self-censorship. When everybody says 'we don't do silent movies anymore' you agree with everybody, you say 'yeah, you're right.' It was a fantasy. And actually I met a lot of directors and most of them they have that fantasy, to make a silent movie because for directors it's the purest way to tell a story. It's about creating images that tell a story and you don't need dialogue for that.

Q2: What about convincing the public now, to get the average viewer to go see a movie in black and white without dialogue?
MH: Yeah, yeah, I can't convince them. It's not ...
