Q1: I cried watching this.
KW: It's intense. I cried a lot. I cried less during Rose Byrne's piece because she cried so much for me. I was like, thank God you are crying for me because I am like so drained watching this! But yeah, I cried too, a lot, during this film. The wife part was for me really disturbing. I turned to my fiancé and told him I might pass out and I could breath I was so...I read the script so it's not like I didn't know what was going to happen, but just to see this woman sitting in front of the police station and not go in, I couldn't believe it! It was so terrifying. How many people in the world do this? It was so scary.

It was interesting because I just read a script about Emmett Till actually and one of the big plotlines in the script is how many of the blacks in Mississippi knew what had happened to him, but were afraid to come forward. It reminded me of what the wife does in this movie. It's very similar to me and I thought about the similar role t...
