Q1: How do you pronounce your name?
RS: When I started my international film career they said to me you have to change your name, but it's something I remember when I was a very young student for dramatic art. I came to the theater and a famous actor at the time in Croatia told me, Rade Serbedzija, it's not a name you'll ever become famous. You have to change your surname. I said, you know what, Sven, I'll try to do my best and I'll try to make all these people remember my name. You know what, I succeeded in my country. I thought it would be the same recipe for America and I was wrong. Nobody can pronounce my name. It's simply difficult, but I'm stubborn.

Q2: Why is it spelled different ways?
RS: It is because my surname is Rade Serbedzija. It's pronounced in my language ROD-e, ZerBEDGia. And that's what I have in the past, but then I thought I'll help to an American audience to correctly pronounce my surname if I put Sherbedgia, it is a...
