Q1: How difficult was it for your team to get all this good footage?
LJ: The most difficult thing is the human involvement because you really have to take a year of your life and go to Antarctica to film and once you get used to it, it's not as difficult as it seems. There are major things to overcome like the weather, but once you do it becomes easier to do in that atmosphere.

Q2: How did the penguins react to the cameras?
LJ: You have to remember that it's been 50 years since there has been a French scientific station in Antarctica and so for the last 50 years they are accustomed to seeing men in orange jumpsuits wandering around the ice so we were just the next generation of them. The Emperor Penguins had become accustomed to seeing all of these funny men in orange suits and they aren't afraid of them, they don't fear humans.
